Quarantine Online Learning
During this unprecedented time on our planet in our history, I will post online learning opportunities here for my current students and any of the kids from my children's school (or any other curious kids on the web). Once this whole thing blows over & we are back in school on track, I will rename this tab "extended learning." Until then, I will continue to update this page daily to keep kids busy & their brains moving forward.

Spanish links:
← One of the last lessons we did in my Spanish 2 class was a virtual walk around the city in Spain where I went to university. I'll make a lesson online to go with the walk around (drop the little orange guy into the map at the main plaza & click the arrows to drive the guy through the narrow streets of the ancient Roman town!)
← Interactive video series CHECK IT OUT! ←SERIOUSLY FUN SPANISH LEARNING! & even if you aren't my current Spanish student, you can still create a log-in to play the games & test your knowledge. ← I can't visit Paris or London any time soon, but I CAN walk around the museums & admire the art ← Khan Academy does a great job teaching about the Rivera murals at the DIA. I take an annual trip with my students, but can't this year. Join me at this link to walk around & see how one Mexican artist honored Detroit's i industrial magnificence |
